About the content

According to calculations conducted by the International Labour Organization (ILO), every year, there are about 2.78 million work-related deaths around the world. What’s more alarming is that as recently as 2014, this figure was estimated to be only 2.3 million.
Additionally, there are somewhere around 374 million non-fatal work-related injuries and illnesses each year, many of these, causing extended employee absences from work.
Developed by a committee of experts on occupational health and safety, ISO 45001 provides organizations with a framework to plan and implement a system to minimize the risk of occupational harm. The regulation will become the main global standard for companies who wish to manage occupational health and safety.
In this webinar, Gus Oliveira discusses what lead to the creation of ISO 45001, important changes, key requirements, the benefits the new regulation will bring companies, and how to get started on the implementation.
