Results are attributed to both international operations and recurring customer portfolio sales
SoftExpert, a supplier of integrated management solutions in compliance, innovation and digital transformation, closed out 2021 with revenue growth of 30% - compared to the same period the year before.
The combination of SoftExpert’ solutions gaining increased market share in a variety of verticals and territories, with growth in recurring sales of products and services in the customer portfolio has led to progressively rising profitability year-over-year.
By following a strategy to drive digital transformation at organizations, SoftExpert shored up important areas in 2021, such as meeting demands to digitize processes and operations, eliminating paper by circulating and signing 100% digital documents, integrating the supplier and customer chain through interactive portals, and managing teams and tasks through agile and collaborative methods.
Globalization
International operations, which are more and more consolidated as the engine of the company's growth, were also higher, with revenues up by 90% and new account numbers abroad performing well, accounting for 50% of total customers gained.
Ricardo Lepper, SoftExpert CEO, points to some initiatives that have helped to leverage the organization's size in the international market. "Forming teams with professionals who are native to the countries where we operate to enter the local culture, while also enhancing digital campaigns with a focus on the segments and characteristics of each region, has been essential to reaching sustainability goals and consolidating international operations," he says.
Among the over 200 new customers added during the year are Bridgestone and Grupo Nueva Pescanova in Spain, TE Connectivity and Wika in the U.S.A, Compagnie Ivoirienne d'Electricité in Côte d'Ivoire, Gedore in South Africa, Grupo Idesa in Mexico, Metamorphic Sourcing Solutions in India, and Natura, Sementes Jotabasso and Special Dog in Brazil.
The expectation for 2022 is to keep investments focused on expanding international operations, in addition to broadening the network of channels that link directly to subsidiaries.
Hirings
These positive results reflected in new hirings. From January to December 2021, the company increased its staff by 20% adding 110 new workers. The company currently has 11 units worldwide, staffed by 436 people, with plans to reach the 500 employee mark in 2022.
Outlooks for 2022
Lepper also says that in order for the company to keep growing its business, the plan is to enhance the architecture of SoftExpert solutions to meet increasingly tailored corporate demands at global companies, while also simplifying the experience of using software as a service to the utmost for small demands and organizations.
Because not only economic sectors, but also the departments within an organization, face different regulatory requirements and particular needs, SoftExpert has been robotizing the intelligence for each business, to deliver a single customizable solution that can be reused for specific demands. Just as in 2021, investments in market trends like
ESG (Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance) and
ESM (Enterprise Service Management) are part of SoftExpert's plans for 2022.
"We are also working hard to specialize our no-code application development platform so that companies in general can digitize and robotize their operations and processes from end to end, without the need to maintain parallel or manual controls," he says in closing.
