The Krona Group is the driving force behind five major brands: Krona, Viqua, Elleve, Novii, and Top-max. It manufactures pipes and fittings for cold water, hot water, and sewage installations, as well as hydraulic accessories, linear and hidden drains, electrical solutions, and irrigation systems, totaling around 2,500 items in its portfolio. Seeking performance management through KPIs

The Krona Group aimed to structure a high-performance KPI management system by implementing the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) methodology. The goal was to integrate all key indicators defined in the company's strategic planning map and track performance and progress through dynamic dashboards.

"We wanted to map out perspectives, strategic objectives, and indicators based on the methodology of Fundação Dom Cabral and Lean Manufacturing," explains Sidnei Marcelo Moreira de Matos, IT Manager at Krona.

In terms of process management, Krona needed to eliminate manual and external controls to record all stages and actions in the product returns process within the company. The objective was to replace these manual processes with an automated management system.

To meet this challenge, the company invested in the SoftExpert Excellence Suite, which plays a central role in Krona's three-layered structure: Operational, Tactical, and Strategic.

Enhanced management with BSC and digitalized processes

With SoftExpert’s technology, the company improved its routine management and performance indicators.

The tool helped consolidate Lean principles within Krona. Now, all projects, action plans, and KPIs are centralized in a single environment. With the solution, the company standardized and optimized processes for problem analysis and interpretation, ensuring close monitoring of critical items.

"We have advanced important steps toward management excellence by creating routines that allow us to approve projects based on relevance, priority, payback, and cash flow impact. The goal is to prioritize projects with the highest financial returns. Our entire strategy is structured within SoftExpert’s Performance Management solution," emphasizes Matos.

In terms of process management, Krona eliminated external and manual controls and now registers and manages all stages and actions of the returns process within the SoftExpert tool.

Furthermore, SoftExpert Suite helps Krona comply with the Brazilian Program for Quality and Productivity in Housing (PBQP-H).

"PBQP-H ensures that our products meet standards that align with societal expectations. The tool helps us secure the PBQP-H certification, as the processes associated with this program are also managed within the system," says Matos.

"The biggest benefit of SoftExpert's solution was the centralization of all key indicators in one place, enabling faster analysis and more accurate decision-making," adds Jonatan Faust, Krona’s Production Manager.
