The move is part of their goal of opening subsidiaries in 20 countries by 2030, with an emphasis on regions that have greater market or regional operations potential. Portugal is an extremely favorable environment for the expansion of SoftExpert's operations, with advantages such as a stable economic environment, the language and an established customer base. In addition, as a Eurozone member, it provides access to a market of 450 million consumers, while its affordable cost of living, security and service infrastructure contribute to the availability of multilingual professionals. This opens up opportunities for growth by exploring market niches potentially interested in SoftExpert products.
“The acquisition of EXEQ enables the company to achieve the goal of offering ‘Services as a Software,’ combining technology and human capital to meet compliance and process automation demands. The integration of the teams increases our expertise, benefiting customers with higher value-added services and promoting the economic growth of operations in the region,” explains Ricardo Lepper, SoftExpert Founder and President.
Historically, EXEQ has been responsible for the entire sales, implementation and support cycle of SoftExpert solutions in the Portuguese market, being a partner with a high degree of satisfaction and loyalty among its customers. The organization has a team of professionals with excellent technical qualifications and seniority with respect to SoftExpert products and services. The business model allows for the creation of an SSC - Shared Services Center - to serve the entire European and African region. Thus, the Portuguese subsidiary will act as a service hub for both continents. For EXEQ, this alliance represents a unique opportunity to effectively join the SoftExpert brand expansion strategy. “Our objective for the next three years is for the company's technology to be recognized as one of the main drivers of business digitalization in Portugal and the region," highlights João Ferreira, who assumes the position of executive director at SoftExpert Portugal. A local and personalized presence is part of the company's core strategy to increase customer growth and retention globally. “In these organizations where our technology is used for the digital transformation of the business and its core operations, it is vital that human capital is present and integrated into the client's internal environment, interacting with the different teams and hierarchical levels, and meeting their short and long-term needs and objectives,” Lepper explains. The specialization of sales channels and partnerships with technology manufacturers are among the organization's next steps to continue SoftExpert's global expansion strategy. "The union with companies in similar or complementary businesses allows us to improve our specialization and differentiation in a wide range of verticals and market niches with great potential. For the diversification of channels and services for customers, we look for companies with consolidated operations and human capital with solid experience and maturity in related areas of knowledge," Lepper concludes.
