    Preparing for the future

    Special Dog was looking for a solution that could map and digitalize as much as possible the range of processes used by the company. Thinking about future growth and the possibility of opening branches in other Brazilian states, Special Dog uses SoftExpert solutions to bring together the SSC methodology in one place and standardize areas of performance, quality, people management, and action plans.

    Growth optimization

    To support and strengthen Special Dog's growth, the pet food producer's areas responsible for audit, quality control, performance, action plans, and service catalog rely on SoftExpert Suite technology. Around 1,500 employees benefit from the optimization and digitalization of processes resulting from the partnership with SoftExpert. It is with this in mind that, for the future, the company aims to digitalize as well as integrate the process of recruiting, selection, and onboarding of new employees.

    Paperless

    Implementing SoftExpert software brought as main result the digitalization of documents in factories. For example, in the wet product factory, the company no longer uses paper. All documentation is on the SoftExpert platform and already integrated with the ERP system used by the company. Furthermore, the entire audit and control process is also conducted trough the SoftExpert platform, resulting in a performance gain for professionals, who will be increasingly analytical and less operational. In the quality area, it is necessary to fill out several forms and finding them on a single platform is more agile than searching by batch and production. The results of using SoftExpert at Special Dog reflect the next steps of the partnership. HR optimization and contract requests will be made through the platform, which will integrate with another recruitment software for the process and will have the support of SoftExpert to digitally sign the employment contract, as well as finalize the new employee's documentation for the personnel department. At the dry food factory, the company's' next step is to automate more than 50 daily processes for the quality, risk, and documents team.
